On the lnternational Day of Women and Girls in Science, Dr. Sandrine Mubenga represented STEM DRC in a speech at the UN about STEM Education in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. There was an emphasis on STEM education and the involvement of Girls in STEM professions. In the past, girls and women have been victimized by war in the DRC. But STEM DRC is helping them rise above this history by providing STEM Scholarships and promoting STEM Professions. Partnerships with other organizations and the World Bank help make this work possible. Please watch the video and then support the work. Donations can be made at STEMDRC.com to further this cause. Advancement of economic conditions in the DRC can result from making STEM Education possible.
